BGFSince inception in 2011, BGF has demonstrated how flexible growth capital can transform the prospects of entrepreneurial companies across the UK and Ireland. To date, BGF has invested more than £4.7 billion in over 650 businesses, creating 27,000 new jobs and helping to generate £7.1 billion in revenue growth. Notably, 74% of the capital deployed by BGF has been outside of London and the South East. BGF’s initial investments in growth-stage business are between £3m and £30m, and between £3m and £10m for earlier-stage businesses. BGF provides minority-only equity investments and combines capital with long-term partnership, significant follow-on funding and tailored value creation support. In 2025, BGF committed to deploying £3 billion into UK businesses over five years.
